How fast is the malibu corvette boat

What's a Corvette boat like to own? Well, as a boat it's a bit of a dude. Malibu Boats clearly seemed to think that the boat would never be used for actual boating.

The Z06 wheels of the trailer weren't designed at all for carrying a boat in the trailer, something that was made very clear when Tabbutt tried to ship the boat home when the tyres either blew out or kept being on the verge of blowing out.

There was also nothing on the boat that could be used to help tie the boat up at a dock and there were other sorts of small niggles that made it not the most suitable boat for going However, all of that was forgiven when Tabbutt felt the sheer power and acceleration of the marinized Corvette engine.

Whilst it might be a tad difficult to live with, it must be really cool to own such a unique boat like this. Whilst it is a fairly rare boat and therefore fairly difficult to get parts for, the Corvette engine is a standard Corvette engine so it's fairly easy to get parts for and work on that even if the engine is a bit of a pain to access because of its location in the boat. Even though Tabbutt has had to put a lot of time and money into it to make it useable as an actual boat, it's one that's provided him with a lot of entertainment and he is adamant that he won't sell it any time soon!

This boat is definitely better than a mid-engined Corvette car. Because a real Vette should be a mix between a muscle car, a sports car and a cruising machine. What it's not supposed to be is a European-styled supercar!

Im sorry- but it was literally created to compete with the European cars of its day. I like my muscle cars as much as the next guy I just think it's Ferrari's or Pagani's job to build mid-engined supercars. There are so many around anyway. While that the Corvette was actually unique as a mix between an American muscle car and a sport car which also fits the European There were quite a few different prototypes and things prior to this.

Any thoughts in general about the 1st gen Malibu Corvette? Thanks, DutchMalibu. Link to post. Wayne Posted February 17, Posted February 17, EnricoCohen 0 Posted February 17, I believe I still have a Ron Scarpa Plate in my warehouse.

In , the company Malibu Boats produced a fleet of 40 Corvette inspired motorboats. But which company did it best? In season two of Car Masters , Mark Towle was dropping off a restored Mustang to a customer's home when he spotted an old twin motor cigarette boat that he had to have.

After noticing the similarities between the boat and the body of a sports car, Mark had the idea to make it Corvette-themed. All of the bodywork and accessories paid tribute to every generation of Corvette, with Corvette tail lights, rearview mirrors, and even real Corvette seats. Unlike the Gotham Garage boat, the Malibu boat was built as a Corvette from the beginning.
